The Armorgard Volthub is a revolutionary way for securely charging lithium-ion batteries. The Volthub has an IP certification, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. VoltHub takes a proactive approach to fire prevention, considerably lowering the possible repercussions of a battery fire breakout.
In the unfortunate event of a fire, the unit quickly responds with an audible and visual alert, as well as a GSM module that notifies a selected phone number. VoltHub suppresses the fire at the same time, preventing thermal transmission to neighbouring lockers and charging equipment. VoltHub simplifies li-ion battery charging safety by being user-friendly, requiring minimal upkeep, and operating with only a single external outlet.
- Power cut-off when the internal temperature reaches 60℃ or more
- Forced ventilation to keep air flowing
- Thermostatic heater keeps the temperature at optimum levels
- The fire suppression and alert systems will still operate without mains power
