Returns Policy Definitions

If you are unsure whether an item is a made-to-order item or a standard stock item, please do not hesitate to contact us. We kindly request that you contact us if you are unsure about the return policy for a particular item. We would be happy to assist you and provide further information about the product in question.

Made-to-Order Items

A made-to-order item is a product that has bespoke requirements such as colour, size, lock type, or style. These items are customized to your specific requirements and cannot be returned or refunded unless they are damaged or manufactured incorrectly.

Standard Stock Items

A standard stock item is usually an item we can deliver within 24 hours. However, please note that this is not always the case, and delivery times may vary depending on your location and the availability of the item. Stock items are usually labelled as 'stock items' in the product title or description.


Returns Eligibility

Made-to-order Items

As most of our products are made to order and delivered directly from the factory, we can only accept returns for made-to-order goods if:

  • The products are damaged.
  • The products have been manufactured incorrectly.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused and in the same condition as you received it, including all original packaging and accessories. We may request photographic evidence of the damage or incorrect manufacturing before approving a return.

Standard Stock Items

To be eligible for a return for our standard stock items, the item(s) must be unused and in the same condition as you received them, including all original packaging and accessories. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the item(s) are not returned in their original condition.


Returns and Cancellations: Timeframe & Instructions

If the driver is still on site when the damaged or incorrect goods are delivered, we advise that you reject the goods and take a photo of them before they leave. This will provide us with the necessary evidence to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Please report the issue to our office as soon as possible, and we will arrange for a replacement or refund.

Once we receive the returned product and have confirmed the damage or manufacturing error, we will issue a refund or exchange, depending on your preference.

Made-to-order Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us immediately at sales@csstorage.co.uk or at 01772 322 634 within 5 days of delivery to arrange a return or exchange.

Please note that if the damage or incorrect product is only reported to us after 5 working days, it makes it more difficult for us to resolve the issue. Therefore, we recommend that you inspect your order upon delivery and notify us of any problems promptly.

For bespoke made-to-order items, cancellations must be reported to us within 24 hours of placing the order. This cancellation request must be made in writing and sent to sales@csstorage.co.uk. We recommend that you follow up with a call to ensure that we receive the cancellation request within the appropriate timeframe. Please call us on 01772 322 634 to report any cancellations.

We do not offer returns or exchanges for any other reason, including change of mind, incorrect sizing, or colour on your part. Please carefully review your order before submitting it to avoid any issues.

Please note that if the cancellation request is not reported within 24 hours of placing the order, we may not be able to cancel the order, as the production process may have already begun. In this case, the cancellation may be subject to a cancellation fee or other terms and conditions, which will be communicated to you at the time of cancellation.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but as bespoke made-to-order items are customized to your specific requirements, we are unable to accept cancellations beyond the 24-hour period.

Standard Stock Items

For standard items that we supply from our stock, you have the right to cancel your order and return the item(s) within 14 days of receipt of your order, in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

If you wish to cancel your order, please notify us by email at sales@csstorage.co.uk within 14 days of receipt of your order. We will provide you with a return address and instructions on how to return the item(s) to us.

Please note that any shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and you will be responsible for the cost of returning the product to us. To ensure the safe return of any items being returned, we request that returns are sent via a recorded delivery service. Additionally, we kindly ask that you provide us with the tracking details to assist in tracking the package and to confirm that the item has been received by us.

We also recommend that you take a photograph of the item(s) before they leave your location, as this will help rule out any potential damage that may have occurred during transit back to us. This added precaution will help to protect both parties and ensure a smoother return process.
